 In the following pages, we would like to share with you our experiences, activities and ideas, and to provide you with information about our members. Any comments or suggestions are truly appreciated. The challenge of the Web is to truly foster international cooperation, in line with the spirit of ISH ("building bridges of cooperation"). A few words about IsSH: IsSH is a registered public, non-profit organization, founded in 1962, with Morris Kleinhaus MD as its founding President. It is a member of both the International (ISH) and European (ESH) Societies of Hypnosis. Since 1984, the Law of Hypnosis has been in effect in Israel, limiting the practice of hypnosis to Physicians, Dentists & Psychologists. The law prescribes the training for licensing, which is acquired through a written & oral examination. IsSH now includes over 350 active members from all over the country. IsSH runs monthly meetings, some day long study days, and invited workshops led by renown international trainers. Every Winter, the national Congress takes place in a three day workshop format. (List of Activities) IsSh has a book & Video Library, and puts out a Journal. Selected articles will be appearing from now on in the Discussion Section, once they complete the screening by the Editorial Board. International colleagues are invited to contribute and participate in our Discussion Forums. |
